Buddhist temples in Seoul metropolitan are accessible for both religious as well as sightseeing site to the public.

Since Korea is heavily influenced by Buddhism religion, you can readily find Buddhist structures and other symbolisms and artifacts representing this religion.

During my latest visit to Seoul's most well-known temple - Chogyesa - I was very fortunate to see the whole place beautifully bedecked with religious symbols. So, I did not hesitate in taking out my camera and start shooting sights that were catching my hungry eyes.

The best time to travel and visit this temple for curious folks is during Buddha's birthday that falls on May 22 this year. That is because you will have the opportunity to observe its religious ceremonies while at the same time you can enjoy the colorful and amazing religious symbols and decors inside the temples as well as all over the perimeter.
