Lights Festivals are widely-known tradition and form of entertainment in many cultures.
In Korea, light festivals are done to art as well as religious functions. As a form of art, a light festival is implemented annually to promote creativity and talents of individuals of various age levels.
At an early age, young Korean kids learn to create lanterns out of colored papers and sticks.
Among adults, they show off their honed skills through creating various shapes and sizes of lanterns to be installed in various public places.
