Yeouido Cherry Blossoms Festival by the Han River

Usually, cherry blossoms are in bloom around the first and second week of April. Certainly, you will start seeing them bloom by the last week of March in some warmer parts of the country.

The photos I took, below, are just some of the sights at one time. The photos were taken in Yeouido, Seoul, by the Han River.

During this season and flower festival, all sorts of interesting events happen around Yeouido area. Since this area is expansive, you have lots of exciting things to witness aside from the cherry blossoms. For example, there are traditional concerts, musical performances, solo artists singers and guitarists, drummers, among many you can discover.

In addition, there are various booths that exhibit arts, photos, calligraphy and arts wherein you are invited to partake and enjoy.

Or, simply take a subway line that passes by Yeouido Station or before and after that station and you will not miss finding the place.
